`Parable` for 13 soloists (1990) was commissioned by the French Radio. It is one of the undoubted peaks in Zohrabyan`s work. Its title goes back to French word `parable` -- `fable`, `allegory`. Yet there is something in the structure of the piece that is similar to the mathematical parabola; the climax of the music development triggers the cadence of the piano.
