My work `17 miniatures for cimbel` (2005) was performed by Angelina Tkatseva and recorded in 2008. The basic idea of the composition is that those miniature pieces are musical fragmenta from an ancient papyrus. This papyrus is timeworn, so many parts or phrases of the musical pieces are blind. In the performance the alleged blind parts and phrases are replaced by a percussion sound, derived by knocking on the soundboard of the instrument. For the performance I gave full exemption to Angelina Tkatcheva and she, delicately, sublimed several phrases and points of the parts.

Этакий `Микрокосмос` для белорусских цимбал.Слушать приятно
и без особых затей. Конечно цимбалы и арфа - беспроигрышные тембры для античных сюжетов. Так что выбор тембра - находка автора.
