Written for the Greek guitarist Eleftheria Kotzia, who lives in London. The golden lyre of Apollo. Just as the golden lyre of Apollo mediates between heaven and earth, between the Muses and mortals, Krysea Phorminx alternates between heavenly and earthly phases. This piece is inspired by, and has as its theme, the oldest fragment of music in Greek culture, the Ode by Pindar (522-488 BC).
