In 1971 Ernst Krenek wrote his op. 213, the double concerto `Kitharaulos` for oboe (oboe d`amore, cor anglais), harp and chamber orchestra, in five movements. The following year he made an new version of this work in which the orchestra is replaced by a tape: `Aulokithara` for oboe (cor anglais), harp and tape op. 213a.
