`Останься с нами, потому что наступает вечер`. На 2-й день (понедельник) Пасхи

Soloists: Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass; 4-part Chorus
Orchestra: 2 oboes, oboe da caccia, violoncello piccolo, 2 violins, viola, continuo

1. Chorus: `Bleib bei uns, denn es will Abend werden` - a freely polyphonic movement in ternary form for the entire ensemble. The middle section is fugal in texture.
2. Aria: `Hochgelobter Gottessohn` (`Highly-praised Son of God`) - for alto, oboe da caccia and continuo.
3. Chorale: `Ach bleib bei uns, Herr Jesu Christ` (`Ah, stay with us, Lord Jesus Christ`) - a setting of Hermann`s chorale for solo soprano, piccolo cello and continuo.
4. Recitative: `Es hat die Dunkelheit an vielen Orten` (`The darkness has [taken over] in many places`) - for bass and continuo.
5. Aria: `Jesu, laß uns auf dich sehen` (`Jesus, let us look upon you`) - for tenor, strings and continuo.
6. Chorale: `Beweis dein Macht, Herr Jesu Christ` (`Reveal your strength, Lord Jesus Christ`) - the last verse of the chorale, sung and played by the whole ensemble.

Вот это исполнение чудной Кантаты заслуживает,имо, отдельной оценки.
Оно очень вдохновенное, прозрачное, оркестр, солисты и хор изумительны, равно как и
солирующие в дуэтах с солистами инструменты.
Поинтересовалась что за дирижер, он оказался незаурядной в высшей степени личностью,
потому как он и композитор и органист и теоретик, занимавший значимые посты в Высших муз.
заведениях, а с материнской стороны принадлежит к роду Людвига ван Бетховена. Как жаль,
что, пока скромное знакомство состоялось так поздно, его жизнь закончилась в 1984г.
