Well, `Accompaniment to a Film Scene`, really. From 1930. Premièred by Otto Klemperer in Berlin, during the Kroll Oper years.

Schoenberg wrote it in 1929 already, for a kind of expressionist movie. When in the 30`s, during the diaspora caused by the German fascists, living in LA near the heart of Hollywood, the composer was given the chance of coöperating with a cinematographic music contribution, he took exactly this same music out of the drawer. He asked a substantial prize. Then
